A government entity responsible for economic development and tourism sought support in building a long-term strategic foresight capability. The team analysed global trends, institutional capabilities, and international best practices to identify opportunities to strengthen competitiveness, resilience, and adaptability. Work spanned four priority themes: market competition, destination experience, geoeconomics and connectivity, and sustainability. Recommendations were translated into prioritised initiatives and long-term roadmaps to embed foresight into strategic decision-making across the organisation.
